2024 Roaming Air Monitor Deployment Report

Between May and November 2024, our Roaming Air Monitor (RAM) van was deployed in Kitimat, B.C. before and during the early commissioning phase of the LNG Canada facility. The RAM is a specially designed van housing equipment for monitoring air pollutants that could be associated with resource development and is capable of recording air quality levels while being driven or parked. Our deployment report summarizes the results of the data measured by the RAM during the seven-month period. The full data set is also available and contains additional details including locations, wind direction, humidity and five-minute continuous monitoring data during mobile operation. The full report and supplementary data files can be found on our website at bc-er.ca/how-we-regulate/ safeguard-the-environment/air-quality/ .
